Dolphins running back Reggie Bush better watch out, his mouth may have just gotten him in trouble for the next time he and the Fins cross the Jets.
Bush was asked Tuesday about the season-ending injury to Jets CB Darrelle Revis, and wasn’t shy in his rather bizarre statement about it – “what goes around, comes around.”
Wow.
“They talked all week about putting hot sauce and this and that, and they ended up losing their best player,” Bush said.
Even though, I don’t think the Jets were looking to HURT Bush, they just wanted to hold him in check.
Bush, who was injured in the first half of Sunday’s 23-20 Jets win, was initially upset when Rex Ryan said earlier this week that the Jets would need to put some “hot sauce” on Bush during Sunday’s game.
Those were the same words Bart Scott used back in 2006 when he faced Bush as a Raven and admittedly went extra hard at Bush’s ankles.
Bush better have an extra pad or two in when the teams meet later on down the road in 2012.
